The Kingdom of Scotland, or Pictland, is the state which is currently ruled by King James III.
Sueno's Stone Located in Forres, in the old kingdom of Fortriu, it is a testament to the power of the Kings of the Picts. During the period of occupation by the Roman Empire, the province of Britannia formally ended at Hadrian's Wall. Between this wall and the Antonine Wall, the Romans fostered a series of buffer states separating the Roman-occupied territory from the territory of the Picts.
Recently, the Royals of Scotland have turned away from their Eastern strongholds, and moved to the Highlands. This move has been controversial in some areas, though the accepted reason among the Scottish is that it provides 'better defence' from possible invasions.
Several uprisings have been occurring in southern Scotland, in support of England. Many Scotsmen and women blame this on the English, as a way to disrupt the Scottish Kingdom, though no evidence of this has been found.
About a year ago, King William Forth died of old age, resulting in his young son, James Forth II, to take the Scottish throne. So far, young James has been leading Scotland well, doing all he can to assist the Scottish people.
