The internal affairs of Scotland is reported here.
After James II's reign began, more strides have been made to inform the Scottish people of their nation's news. Usaully, a messenger begins travel from the King's Court in the Highlands to a nearby outpost, which has several messengers living there. The King's messenger informs them of the news, and the messengers at the outpost start a long journey across Scotland to tell the people. About half of these messengers stay, for any future news.

McGiven to be hanged for treason!
Hours ago, King James II sentanced the 40-year-old John McGiven to death for high treason against Scotland.
McGiven is alleged to have given infomation about Scottish Army movements in the South to an unknown group, though some are already pointing at the English, whom many believe are considering invading Scotland.
"McGiven has commited treason against the Kingdom of Scotland," said James II. "Under my reign, Scotland will not tolerate such, especially in the times we now live in."
His hanging will take place tomorrow, in public, where all are invitied to watch his death.
