Al Alhar's palace is in the eastern side of the the Moorish kingdom near Egypt. It has circular towers to deflect catapulted rocks and a series of underground tunnels linking bits of the palace to other bits of it and one tunnel is an escape tunnel leading outside of the Palace.
The Palace was designed first as a place of defense then as a luxury home for the Sultan so it is extremely well defended. It has High stone walls surrounding a second ring of high stone walls surrounding a taller strong stone keep. There are oil pits surrounding the outer wall and a 20ft deep ditch between the oil pits and the wall.
There are circular towers dotted every so often along both stone walls and on side of the keep.
