The Kingdom of Naples/Sicily has a population of 4,000,000. The army/navy size is 1,000,000 men consisting of:
250,000 pikemen (regular troops in leather armor)
45,000 cavalry (regular troops in chain mail and armed with longsword or shortbow) NOTE: these are not knights.
5,000 elite knights (breastplates and lances/longswords) knights often command regular cavalry units, although several brigades of heavy cavalry knights exist, and many occasionally hire themselves out as mercenaries, with their liege's leave.
130,000 longbowmen
200,000 crossbowmen
200,000 swordsmen
150,000 axemen
Navy consists of 20,000 men on 50 ships.
