Name: Constantine the Great
Age: 37
Height: 5"8
Build: Solid and muscular
Hair: Black
Eyes: Blue
General Appearance: Constantine is relatively tall and solidly built and muscular from his years as an officer in the military. He has black hair and blue eyes which were common tin his place of birth. Being in the army Constantine has had his share of injuries. He has a long thin scar running the length of his back where he barely escaped the deadly touch of a Turkish scimitar.
Nationality: Moesian (area of Byzantium)
Occupation: Emperor of the Byzantine Empire
Family: One wife called Minervina but no children as of yet
Religion: Orthodox-Christian
Allegiance: Byzantine Empire
Weapons: Constantine bears with him a great-sword with the hilt made of silver inlaid with many precious stones, the blade itself is made of the finest steel.
Other Possessions: Constantine always carries with him a beautiful and intricately forged dagger. The dagger represents the house of the Emperor. He possesses a set of the finest armour in the whole of Byzantium.
Strengths and Weaknesses: Constantine is politically strong and talented. He is very military minded and is well trained in the many arts of war. However Constantine does have his share of weaknesses, he is far too decisive and he will make unruly decisions even if he doesn't know the full situation. He is also rather vindictive and will do what he can to 'get back at them'. These unfortunate traits lead to Constantine making rash decisions which he may later come to regret.
Personality: Constantine is an irritable character yet has a great mind having been behind the passing of many new laws for his citizens. He does understand the needs of the people and tries to accommodate them in his decisions. He hates not knowing the full extent of any situation but will try and come to terms with it. Constantine has been known to act violently and is occasionally unsure of himself. He listens to his advisor's a lot and trusts them, this could lead to problems in the future.
History: Constantine the Great was raised in royalty his father was the Emperor, however, Constantine was the second of two sons and so did not expect to rule. Because of this he went and joined the army at an early age, that being the early expansion of the Byzantine empire he saw many battles proving his courage and ingenuity many times. This elevated him to the rank of general and he traveled far in the expansion of his fathers empire. Yet suddenly, in a great turn of fortune (for Constantine) his older brother was met with a sudden and what became a deadly fever. Constantine did not get on well with his late brother thinking him in ignorant fool, their animosity was well known. And so it was Constantine who ascended the throne and he was soon to become known for his great deeds. His unofficial title was Constantine the Great but he was affectionately known by many as St Constantine as well. The only thing which prevented Constantine from becoming a recognized Saint was the precarious alliance with the Papal States who would vehemently oppose such an act. Constantine was behind the passing of many new laws aimed at protecting women and children and he also transformed Constantinople as one of the central trading hubs of the world, this made the Byzantine Empire obscenely rich and powerful. He rules the Byzantine Empire at the height of its power. Constantinople was named such after Constantine in honour of him.
