Hmmm... welll perhaps they should meet seeing as I believe your character is the King, and she is a Lady-In-Waiting.... but in what manner??? (not trying to be modest)

A Jousting Tournament would suffice.  Do you wish foo me to create the post, or would you like too? Ladies-In-Waiting are commonly noble women(during medieval times), therefore they don't serve the King, but a high esteemed Lady such as thee Queen or her children.... |

Well Elinor's Lady could wish that Elinor take her place at the tournament as the Lady has a headache. Therefore Elinor attends in the place of her Lady, and to review the tournament and later tell her Lady of how it went... ??
